East Oakland rapper and Cinematic recording artist, Capolow shares his new single “Drop That Bag,“ prod. Mr. TRAX and Cozmo. Arriving with a swagged out music video and a TLC inspired intro verse, “Drop That Bag” is an ode to getting money. It’s something Capolow is getting used to after the success of his recent singles “Drip” and “Outta Sight” (25+ million streams to date) as well as a co-sign from fellow Bay Area-native, Kamaiyah who featured him on her recent album, Got It Made.
Raised by the streets and forced to grow up fast, Capolow still sees a shy innocence within himself, possessing a sense of humor that allows him to learn from his hardship-entwined upbringing. His music pays homage to that notion, showing the world that Capolow is not just a street-hardened rapper, but instead, someone with a positive mindset and divine motivation for musical greatness.
Capolow’s optimism and hard work ethic payed off with the release of his latest project, Room 304 earlier this year, garnering critical acclaim from the likes of HotNewHipHop and XXL with stand out tracks “Blood On My Christians” ft. Guapdad 4000, “Cross Me” feat. Yungeen Ace, “Peace + Love” feat. AZ Chike, and “Next Episode” feat ALLBLACK. Check out his new track and video “Drop That Bag” and stay tuned for more from Capolow soon.
