EARTHSIGNCHELS UNLEASHES NEW SINGLE & VIDEO “CRAZY?”
In partnership with Not Fit For Society, Columbia Records’ newest signing, earthsignchels, returns with her new single “CRAZY?”. Produced by J. Hill, Steven Shaeffer, and benji benji, the track finds earthsignchels leaning fully into confidence and the freedom of letting go. Driven by hypnotic production, sharp delivery, unpredictable vocal switches, and a chorus built to command attention, “CRAZY?” invites listeners into a world of strange incidents, blurred realities, and unanswered questions. Offering a glimpse inside her mind as she processes everything she’s witnessed, the track captures the disorienting feeling of trying to make sense of a world that no longer feels entirely familiar. Through it all, she remains grounded in herself, observing, questioning, and searching for clarity amid the chaos. “CRAZY?” lives in that uneasy space between what we see, what we believe, and what we know to be real. Listen HERE.
Self-directed by earthsignchels, the “CRAZY?” video brings the song’s energy into a dark, surreal visual world. The visual plays with the absurdity of everyday life, using imaginative imagery and unexpected moments to create a world that feels slightly removed from reality. The result is a visual as unconventional as the song itself, giving earthsignchels room to explore the tension between chaos, release, and letting go.
“CRAZY?” arrives on the heels of earthsignchels’ breakout run surrounding her previous single “Daddy Died.” Released earlier this year, the deeply personal track introduced another side of the Chicago artist, pairing vivid storytelling and emotional vulnerability with her completely uninhibited vocal performance. The accompanying official video brought the song’s themes of grief and loss to life to much acclaim, while her subsequent COLORS SHOW performance ushered in another significant moment in her rapid rise this year. Her previous single “Already Won” first introduced audiences to her irreverent confidence and genre-blurring approach, accompanied with official video and a standout On The Radar performance that earned her early praise from some of music’s biggest names. Together, “Already Won” and “Daddy Died” established the two extremes of an artist who can move effortlessly between vulnerability, humor, bravado and emotional honesty.

earthsignchels’ distinct approach has already drawn attention from some of music’s most influential tastemakers. “Daddy Died” was included in NPR Music’s Best Albums and Songs of 2026 So Far, with the outlet praising its vulnerability and “highly combustible” delivery, writing that earthsignchels “dares to reanimate a genre.” She has also been spotlighted by UPROXX and Lyrical Lemonade, while earning cosigns from SZA, Keke Palmer, Vic Mensa, Diplo, Robert Glasper, Missy Elliot, and more.
With “CRAZY?” earthsignchels pushes that range even further. The track is unapologetic, playful, intentionally provocative, capturing the energy of an artist who has no interest in playing by the expected rules. “CRAZY?” marks the next chapter in what is quickly becoming earthsignchels’ breakout year – more to come soon.
