Fred again.. Releases ‘solo’ With Blanco
‘solo’ is the next release from the new era of Fred’s infinite, ever-evolving USB album, following ‘ICEY..’ and ‘..FEISTY’ with BIA, ‘Winny’ with Sammy Virji & Winny, the ‘Beto’s Horns’ remixes with CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso and Ezra Collective, ‘Talk of the Town’ with Sammy Virji and Reggie, ‘HARDSTYLE 2’ with KETTAMA and Shady Nasty, ‘Facilita’ with Caribou and MC Teteu, ‘Ambery’ with Floating Points, ‘the floor’ remixes with Skin On Skin & BEAM, ‘OK OK’ with Danny Brown, BEAM & PARISI and ‘you’re a star’ with Amyl and the Sniffers.
Beyond his official releases, Fred has been eager to offer fans extra material, creating additional edits by working on tracks live on Twitch and dropping them straight onto Soundcloud. You can listen to these HERE.
In September, Fred kicked off the new era of his acclaimed USB series, revealing he will be releasing ten songs and playing ten shows in ten cities around the world across ten weeks.
Last week’s USB002 show took place in Vancouver’s Convention Centre alongside Skream & Benga and SICARIA. The show also featured a custom installation by visual artist Boris Acket, a piece that will accompany every USB002 performance throughout the year.
Tonight’s show will be held in San Francisco at Cow Palace alongside Hamdi, Oppidan and bad juuju b3b Clearcast b3b Vertigo.
Fred’s USB album originally began in 2022, featuring tracks like ‘Baby Again’, ‘Rumble’ alongside Skrillex & Flowdan, ‘Jungle’, ‘leavemealone’ with Baby Keem and ‘stayinit’ with Lil Yachty, as well as remixes from Nia Archives, HAAi and Rico Nasty, before the first collection was released on vinyl as USB001 in 2024.
