GLOBAL POP PHENOMENON GRIFF UNVEILS ELECTRIFYING NEW SINGLE “ANYTHING” FROM HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED DEBUT ALBUM VERTIGO, SET TO RELEASE JULY 19

Global pop star Griff is back with her powerful new single “Anything”, available for listening via Warner Records. This track is a fresh taste of her forthcoming debut album, “Vertigo”, set to release on July 19. The album is now available for pre-order.
After being personally selected to open for Taylor Swift at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 22, Griff has also been announced as the supporting act for select dates of Sabrina Carpenter’s US tour in October, following her own headline US tour. More information and the full list of dates can be found online.
Before “Vertigo” had a title or its first single, it was a feeling. It’s the sensation of the world spinning too fast, leaving you feeling insecure about your place in it. The album is a real-time journey of self-discovery that Griff has shared across three volumes, weaving songs that echo the theme of vertigo into a narrative that transitions from melancholy and heartache to healing and joy. “Vertigo” showcases Griff reaching new creative peaks without losing the handcrafted, homemade charm that initially established her as an exciting voice in British Pop.
Griff explains, “The album is about vertigo as an emotion and the disorienting, upside-down feeling of heartache. I wanted to release this project in parts, from the low feelings (Vol.1) to desperate euphoria (Vol.2), and with volume three, the complete story.”
With a holistic approach to everything from production and fashion to design, and even her signature hairstyle, Griff’s debut album transforms the chaos of young adulthood into a source of strength. Her previous single “Miss Me Too” is a euphoric, existential anthem about the seldom-discussed irony of losing confidence as you supposedly grow older and wiser. The song was accompanied by a beautifully choreographed video that physically expresses these emotions. Throughout the album, the BRITs Rising Star winner draws on her unique origin story, from her unconventional Chinese-Jamaican upbringing to launching an international music career from her bedroom. This tenacious, no-nonsense talent, always wise beyond her years, sounds like she is truly living: free of expectations and navigating a world where there is no one way to release a debut album or to be oneself.
