East London’s Good Neighbours share their second single ‘Keep It Up’. This epic track follows their huge, breakout debut single, ‘Home’ – the first true viral success of the year. ‘Keep It Up’ is out now via Some Action/Neon Gold/Avenue A alongside an animated visual. Good Neighbours have recorded these two singles as part of their ‘From the Neighbourhood’ live sessions. Watch ‘Home’ now (here) and ‘Keep It Up’ (here).

‘Home’ is the soaring euphoric future pop masterpiece that quickly graduated from viral buzz to chart success: 110 million combined streams and counting, it entered singles charts in 12 countries including the UK (#26) and Billboard 100. Currently sitting on the R1 B list, and receiving support from Zane Lowe, Matt Wilkinson, and Radio X, ‘Home’s’ insane impact shows no signs of slowing down.

Good Neighbours are Scott Verrill and Oli Fox. They are blown away by the reaction to their music but are keen to keep focus and keep moving with what else they have in their alt-indie-pop cannon. Sitting somewhere between MGMT, Passion Pit, and Glass Animals, Good Neighbours bring a sense of freedom and euphoria to the current UK music scene. ‘Keep It Up’ is a rousing pep talk in a song, the nucleus of a band pushing their head up to face the sun. In two and a half minutes, they offer hope, strength, and encouragement to anyone down on their luck, while jangling piano chords and rolling drums keep the energy up through to the track’s close – another anthem in the bag.

Discussing the song, Scott and Oli say, “‘Keep It Up’ felt like the birth of the band; we wrote this track about 20 mins after Oli had just been fired from one of his four part-time jobs at the time. It was a bleak time, but this was the song that we needed to hear to give ourselves some joy and optimism. We wrote it, and Good Neighbours was born.”

Good Neighbours sold out The Sebright Arms in November ’23 off the back of one SoundCloud demo and heaps of optimism. In February, they packed out Hackney’s The Victoria for their second-ever headline, and the next day, they sold out London’s Lexington in under an hour. Due to such demand, they added a further London show at Village Underground for June 19th.
