The viral regional Mexican artist Remp returns with his searing new single “Rey Midas” featuring rising artist Régulo Molina via Lumbre Music today. The track marks another entry in Remp’s string of astronomical singles that was first ignited by his viral hit song “Don Dimadon” featuring corridos tumbados star Óscar Maydon that has amassed over 148 million streams to date. He’s impressively built a cult following through his signature sound with dembow and electrocorridos amongst the regional Mexican genre, positioning as an early force in the larger Latin music arena.
Produced by his frequent collaborator Kiddprxblems and featuring a guitar-driven beat rooted in Norteño music with an outlaw soul, interpolating a hip-hop rhythm at the backbone of the track, “Rey Midas” sees Remp finding a new creative partner with an unmatched chemistry.
