The global icon – Billboard’s current cover star – breathed life into a Superstar Q&A on Wednesday afternoon, followed by a star-studded “Next Gen Reggaeton” evening later that night, in collaboration with Cheetos, which featured special guest performances by Omar Courtz, Saiko, and Dei V, before wrapping up with the most anticipated moment of the night: an explosive set by J Balvin himself.
J Balvin’s action-packed week concluded last night with a scintillating performance during the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards, instantly becoming the “highlight of the night.” The Colombian artist presented a vibrant spectacle that danced between genres, performing his hit “Cosa De Locos” before morphing the track into an electrifying salsa number. In the midst of the celebration, the Argentine sensation María Becerra took to the stage for a heartfelt speech to introduce the night’s special honoree. J Balvin was honored on stage with the Spirit of Hope Award and a grand surprise, handed by his longtime friend and colleague, Maluma. Balvin was recognized for his philanthropic efforts through his Vibra En Alta Foundation, which aims to elevate young individuals by supporting their educational journeys.

Furthermore, J Balvin has premiered a new docuseries titled “A Great Day With J Balvin,” in which he is joined by friends such as Anitta, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, Demi Lovato, Jimmy Butler, Saweetie, and Xolo Maridueña. “A Great Day With J Balvin” is now available to stream on Peacock TV.
