JACKZEBRA ANNOUNCES ZHUANG ZHUANG WORLD TOUR – KICKING OFF 9/24
jackzebra, the Chengdu-born rapper/producer at the center of China’s 实感音乐 (shígǎn) scene, has just announced the Zhuang Zhuang World Tour, his first headlining international tour spanning 15 dates across Europe, North America, and Australia. The local presale begins Tuesday, September 22 at 10 AM local time, followed by the general onsale Wednesday, September 23 at 10 AM local time. This run of shows follows a busy summer for jackzebra, following back-to-back single releases “Sunshine”, produced by mag and Thr6x, and “Blessed”, produced by mental.
jackzebra announces his world run after a year spent building on his latest release, Hunched Jack Mixtape, his first project released via Surf Gang Records. Following back-to-back shows at Elsewhere in New York City and El Cid in Los Angeles, he teamed up with Bloodz Boi, one of the peers he started dropping SoundCloud singles with during lockdown, for Bloodzebra, a 10-track collaborative project executive produced by Syrian producer Cutspace. Following Bloodzebra, he opened the EU leg of the Zhuang Zhuang Tour at Le Not in Paris and walked 1199’s debut Paris Fashion Week runway.
