Mercedes-Benz USA Announces Pricing for the new Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series

The new 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series marks a bold new chapter in open-top ultra-luxury, combining timeless elegance and dynamic performance with the craftsmanship and attention to detail expected from Mercedes-Maybach. Arriving at U.S. dealerships in the second half of 2025, the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series will start at $224,900.

The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is the first two-seater roadster in Maybach history and stands as the brand’s sportiest model to date. As with all Maybach vehicles, it offers a comprehensive suite of standard features including two specially curated design concepts – “Red Ambience” and “White Ambience” – each featuring distinctive two-tone paintwork and exclusive interior themes.

“White Ambience” showcases a new interpretation of Maybach’ signature two-tone paint with Obsidian Black Metallic over MANUFAKTUR Moonlight White Magno. In “Red Ambience,” Obsidian Black Metallic contrasts elegantly with MANUFAKTUR Garnet Red Metallic. In addition to the two design themes, MANUFAKTUR Exclusive paint options are also available upon request, allowing for a highly personalized expression of the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series.

Exterior design highlights include an illuminated Maybach grille featuring an upright Mercedes-Benz star, an optional PixelPaint Mercedes-Maybach hood pattern, rose‑gold accents and chrome elements, plus exclusive 21‑inch forged wheels and a soft top embossed with an anthracite Maybach pattern. The rear features Maybach‑logo taillights, a chrome-accented fascia, a diffuser and aerodynamic scoops.

Inside, both concepts feature sustainably tanned MANUFAKTUR Crystal White Exclusive Nappa leather, extending across the door panels, center console and the brand’s signature comfort seats. The digital driver display and electrically adjustable center multimedia display feature Maybach-specific start-up animations and display themes. Additional Maybach hallmarks include the signature steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and illuminated stainless-steel door sills.

Powering the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is a handcrafted 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, producing 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. This performance translates into a 0–60 mph time of approximately 4.0 seconds, delivered via a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive system, ensuring optimal traction and driving safety in any driving condition. The advanced chassis features active hydraulic roll stabilization and rear-axle steering for agile, composed handling. Four drive programs – “Comfort,” “Maybach,” “Sport” and “Individual” – allow for tailored driving experiences. Extensive sound insulation, an acoustic soft top and a bespoke exhaust system provide the serene ride quality expected of a Maybach.
