MEXICAN MUSIC ARTISTS ON THE RISE ARMENTA AND CALLE 24 JOIN FORCES ON “UNA LOKURA”

ARMENTA and CALLE 24, two of the rising stars in Mexican Music and major bets of Street Mob Records, join forces on “UNA LOKURA”, a track that reflects the power of relentless love between two lovers, where one clings to the pursuit of a life with that special person despite all odds. This is ARMENTA’s first single under Street Mob Records/  Warner Music Latina, and serves as a preview of his debut EP set to release in the coming months.

The collaboration between Armenta and Calle 24 is no coincidence. Over the years, the two artists have forged a very close friendship that has strengthened with time. This deep connection is reflected in the authenticity and emotion of “Una Lokura.”

“When we decided to embark on this creative adventure, we knew we wanted to offer something special. We have put our utmost effort into creating a track that is not only beautiful but also of high quality. “Una Lokura” tells the story of a passionate and secret love, capturing the essence of a relationship that defies conventions. The lyrics speak of clandestine encounters and intense emotions, reflecting the intensity and risk of forbidden love. The musical production combines traditional sierreño elements with a modern touch, highlighting the guitar and typical genre percussion.

The music video for “Una Lokura” adds an additional layer of narrative to the song. Filmed in two different locations, Armenta recorded his part in a forest near Mexico City, while Calle 24 filmed in California. The video tells the story of a couple escaping to the forest on a motorcycle, encapsulating the spirit of adventure and excitement that characterizes the song. This visual story perfectly complements the lyrics, creating an immersive experience for the viewers.

ARMENTA was recently announced as one of the artists participating in the second edition of the ARRE festival, which will take place at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City. Other artists participating include Los Tigres del Norte, Junior H, Gerardo Ortiz, Codiciado, Xavi, El Komander, El Fantasma, as well as Clave Especial and Calle 24.
