Kane Rodriguez, one of the emerging voices redefining Mexican music, presents “Chula”, the first single from his debut studio album, La Batuta. This release marks the beginning of a new chapter in his career alongside Warner Music Mexico / La Empresa Music and is now available on all digital platforms.

Written by the talented Juan Deron, “Chula” tells the story of a man who never promised fidelity and a woman who, despite knowing this, falls into his game—capturing the essence of the good life and the magnetism of an irresistible love. The song blends sierreño and tumbado rhythms, reflecting Kane’s musical identity, which fuses the tradition of regional mexicano with a fresh and vibrant style.

“This release means a lot to me; it’s the first step in a project that represents who I am and what I want to contribute to Mexican music,” says Kane.

The music video was filmed at Blue Light Studios in Houston, his hometown, showcasing the city’s dynamic musical culture. “Houston has always been a source of inspiration for me, and I wanted to reflect that energy in this project,” the artist adds.

Following “Chula”, Kane continues his rise with “Morro Mañoso”, a corrido tumbado that reaffirms his versatility within the genre. With an innovative sound and a strong artistic identity, Kane Rodriguez is positioning himself as a key figure in the new wave of Mexican music.
