MINNESOTA VIKINGS ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES
Duke Shelley joins the Vikings practice squad after being waived by the Chicago Bears on Aug. 31, 2022. The fourth-year veteran has appeared in 30 career games with six starts, recording 50 tackles with four passes defensed. Shelley appeared in 10 games with a career-high four starts in 2021. The native of Tucker, Georgia, was a standout at Kansas State before entering the NFL as a sixth-round selection (205th overall) by the Bears in the 2019 NFL Draft. Shelley was in Chicago with Vikings Assistant Head Coach Mike Pettine and Defensive Line Coach Chris Rumph in 2021.
The Vikings practice squad now stands at 16 players.
