OMB Peezy shouts out a true OG in new video

In a moving new video, Bama-Born, Bay Area-based OMB Peezy seeks wisdom from a true OG – his grandma. “Ms. Lois House” explores the two juxtaposing sides of growing up in her home, which started as a den of hope and innocence and grew into a headquarters of trapping for Peezy and his friends. Ms. Lois introduces the song with a sweet and succinct seal of approval, “Sometimes I don’t know what he be saying, but it sounds good.”

When Peezy moved to the Bay Area he developed a reputation as a rap prodigy and earned the respect of new wave legend Nef The Pharaoh and true OG E-40 before eventually signing to E-40’s Sick Wid It label and 300 Entertainment. In 2017, he shared virally popular hits like “When I Was Down,” “Porch,” and his debut project Humble Beginnings, executive produced by Grammy-nominated producer Cardo Got Wingz (Kendrick Lamar, Jeezy, Meek Mill).
