RAÚL HERNÁNDEZ JR. LETS HIS MUSIC SPEAK FOR HIM IN ESENCIA

Raúl Hernández Jr., Entertainment News, Latin Music, Latin Entertainment, Latin Artist, Latin Singer

There are things one inherits, and others one ends up making one’s own. In ESENCIARaúl Hernández Jr. draws from the sounds that have shaped his life to tell his story from a more personal place. Without chasing a single formula across songs, the album shifts according to what each story calls for.

There are ten tracks. “Ni Lo Intentes,” the project’s focus track, speaks from the pride of someone convinced they’ve left a mark impossible to erase. In “Prisionero de tus Brazos,” love appears through total surrender, while “Amor Prisionero” pits two things that rarely carry equal weight against each other: affection and money. “El Machete” changes the terrain entirely, reviving the narrative style of the corrido to follow the story of a racehorse and the wins that built its fame.

For me, ‘De la Tierra al Cielo’ marks a before and after in my career. ESENCIA means honesty, means identity, and defines who we are. There are ten songs, and none resembles the other. That’s what makes the album feel dynamic from start to finish,” shares Raúl Hernández Jr.

That distinction between one song and the next runs through the entire album. Corridos, rancheras, ballads, rhythmic ballads, and cumbia coexist without forcing the record to stay within a single sound. Five of its songs were chosen as singles, and all ten have their own audiovisual piece.

The album’s title ends up saying exactly what was intended. ESENCIA brings together the roots that have accompanied Raúl Hernández Jr. all along with the music that now carries his name.
