Urban powerhouse, RYAN CASTRO unleashed euphoria and showcased his Colombian pride by joining Carlos Vives at his massive concert offered in the heart of Madrid, at the symbolic Puerta de Alcalá this past weekend, to perform “LOS SABANALES” live for the first time in front of thousands of fans. The concert also included the participation of Juanes, Prince Royce, Ana Mena, and other artists.
The audience present vibed to the rhythm of the Colombian cultural anthem, featuring the modernized version offered by Ryan Castro to celebrate ‘El Dia De La Hispanidad’. This marks an important milestone in the career of the urban artist from Medellin, who grew up listening to the vallenato classic and is proud to contribute his own musical essence to the song.
Ryan Castro, the leader of the new generation of Reggeaton in Colombia, was excited to once again perform in Spain, a country that has accepted his music and for which he recently toured throughout different cities in the summer, including Marbella, Madrid and Barcelona, among others. Castro, who has had success in the Spanish market with his recent collaborations with Bad Gyal and Saiko, shows that he reaps worldwide recognition, including in the European market, in the form of a nomination to the MTV EMA’s as ‘Best Latam Central Act’.
The urban artist now gears up to participate at Amazon’s immersive event, “The Future is Ours” on October 23rd in Los Angeles which converges fashion, music and technology. In addition, Ryan is set to perform at the Rolling Stone en Español awards this October 26th in Miami, where he also counts with a nomination in the category “Voz De La Audiencia”.
