Sergio George, the legendary record producer, pianist, composer and arranger, the only 3x Latin Grammy® winner for Producer of the Year, and who is known for his work with some of the most emblematic artists in salsa and tropical music, begins to unveil his highly anticipated new album “ATACA SERGIO, URBAN SALSA SESSIONS” today with the release of the project’s first single “La Puerta” featuring Puerto Rican urban music star Jay Wheeler.

Released under Sergio George’s label The Sergio George Company in partnership with Sony Music Latin, “ATACA SERGIO, URBAN SALSA SESSIONS” was conceived with the goal of developing the renowned producer’s vision for the evolution of Latin popular music worldwide, finding its roots in the common ground that both salsa and urban music share of having been born in the streets.

“La Puerta” is the vibrant first taste of this groundbreaking, genre-blending project that will revolutionize salsa music and transform its trajectory going forward, fusing infectious salsa melodies and immersive urban rhythms in a cautionary tale about what can happen when we let pride get in the way of love.

This unforgettable song unites Wheeler’s unmistakable vocals with Sergio George’s distinct musical language, and the official music video, which was filmed in Miami, gives fans a behind the scenes look at Wheeler and Sergio George spending time together in the studio during the track’s recording, bringing their undeniable artistic chemistry to life on screen.

INQUEBRANTABLE,” which hit #1 in salsa music on Amazon ahead of its official release in November 2023.
