SONY MUSIC US LATIN Signs Argentinian Rap Sensation TRUENO
Sony Music US Latin is thrilled to announce the signing of Trueno. This partnership is set to amplify Trueno’s already formidable presence in the global music scene.
Only 21, Trueno (Mateo Palacios) born in Buenos Aires, Argentina has taken the Hip-Hop scene in Latin America and Spain by storm. Known for his electrifying live performances and deep-rooted connection with the Hip-Hop community across the continent, Trueno has become a symbol of youthful exuberance and social consciousness.
Sony Music US Latin President Alex Gallardo expressed his excitement: “Trueno is the new head of Latin American Hip Hop. Trueno’s journey began with his win in the 2019 Red Bull Freestyle competition and the FMS (Freestyle Master Series) – both pinnacles of freestyle in Latin America. His debut album, ‘Atrevido,’ received critical acclaim and public admiration, showcasing a mature artistic vision beyond his years. With almost 16 million Spotify followers and hundreds of millions of views on YouTube Trueno has solidified his status as a luminary in urban music.
