BBNO$ (pronounced “Baby No Money”) brought a high-energy, unforgettable show to Toronto on March 7th at History. The Canadian rapper and his team delivered a night of infectious beats, catchy rhymes, and undeniable charisma that had the crowd going wild from start to finish.

Located in the heart of Toronto, History has quickly become a go-to venue for top-tier performances, and it did not disappoint on this night. The venue’s intimate atmosphere allowed for a personal connection between the artists and the crowd, yet it still had the grandeur and energy of larger arenas. With top-tier sound and lighting, it set the perfect stage for BBNO$ to shine.

The night kicked off with Jungle Bobby, who warmed up the crowd with a mix of laid-back flows and bouncy beats. Jungle Bobby’s stage presence was solid, and while the crowd was still settling in, there was a palpable buzz as the artist delivered some of his most popular tracks. The energy started to build, setting the tone for what was to come.

BBNO$ stepped onto the stage to an explosion of cheers, and from the moment he appeared, it was clear this was going to be a show to remember. He opened his set with his viral track “IT BOY,” sending the crowd into a frenzy. His setlist was a balanced mix of fan favorites and some of his more experimental tracks. The crowd roared with every line of “Lalala,” “Edamame,” and “Bad Boy,” proving that his infectious hooks and unique blend of humor and swagger have made him a household name in the rap scene.

BBNO$ has a natural ability to command the stage. His easygoing, playful demeanor was matched by his tight delivery, effortlessly navigating through his catalog while keeping the energy up. He wasn’t just rapping; he was connecting with the crowd in an entirely different way—he took time between songs to chat with the audience, sharing humorous anecdotes and reflecting on his journey as an artist. His down-to-earth personality created an intimate vibe, despite the larger venue, making everyone feel like they were a part of the show.

BBNO$ also treated the crowd to some unexpected moments, performing covers of “C’est La Vie” by Yung Gravy and delivering a fun, high-energy rendition of “Party in the USA.” The crowd loved the surprises, showing their appreciation by singing along and cheering even louder. The visuals behind him were equally dynamic, with projections that matched his quirky, playful vibe and high-energy style.

What stood out most about the night was the relationship between BBNO$ and the audience. He acknowledged the crowd’s energy, often commenting on how incredible it was to be back in Toronto and how much he appreciated the love. It wasn’t just a concert; it was an experience, a full-fledged party.

Toronto has always had a deep love for hip hop, and BBNO$’s tour stop felt like a homecoming. The energy in the room was electric, and the crowd was totally in sync with every beat and every lyric. From start to finish, there was no lull; the whole night was an unrelenting wave of fun, catchy tunes, and vibrant energy.
