CURATED Acquires G-Class Restomod Builder Touring

CURATED, the specialist in historically significant collector automobiles, today announced the acquisition of Touring (formerly Touring Design), a manufacturer that builds bespoke all-terrain vehicles on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class platform.

Touring builds each vehicle to order. Clients specify the drivetrain, the interior, and the finish, and every build is engineered to be driven anywhere in the world. No two are the same.

The commission does not end at delivery. Touring also plans and handles the logistics of getting a vehicle and its owner to wherever they intend to use it, from shipping and routing to support on the ground, so an owner can take a G-Class abroad without arranging any of it themselves.

The acquisition follows growing demand from CURATED’s own clients, who increasingly come to the company for the experiences it creates as much as the cars it sells. The same collectors who buy for originality and provenance are also asking for a vehicle they can drive hard and travel in, a pattern CURATED has seen across its rally and event programs. Touring builds that vehicle.

Touring will continue to build on the G-Class platform, and Webb will continue to lead the brand. Under CURATED’s ownership it gains access to CURATED’s collector network and its rally and event calendar.

CURATED clients will be able to commission Touring vehicles directly through CURATED, with completed builds shown at future events, private client experiences, and select automotive exhibitions.

The acquisition is effective immediately.
