The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed QB Danny Etling to the practice squad, the team announced today.
Etling, 6-3, 220, was originally drafted by New England in the seventh round (219th overall) of the 2018 draft and has spent time with the Falcons, Seahawks, Vikings, Broncos and Packers practice squads. The Terre Haute, Ind. native spent his freshman and sophomore seasons (2014-2015) at Purdue where he started 12 games and posted 16 touchdowns before transferring to LSU for his junior and senior seasons.
With the Tigers, Etling passed for 4,586 yards and 27 touchdowns and is ranked among the Top 10 quarterbacks in LSU history for passing yards (No. 8 at 4,586) and completions (No. 9 at 325).
