Kaash Paige drops KAASHMYCHECKS EP ft Juicy J and Phabo
Following the release of her new single “2BADBITCHES” earlier this month, Kaash Paige has dropped her highly anticipated EP KAASHMYCHECKS.
August 8 via Rostrum Records. The release marks her first full-length project on the label and a decisive return to the spotlight after a period of growth, self-reflection, and reinvention.
More hip-hop leaning than her signature R&B sound, KAASHMYCHECKS is a debauched, liberated exploration of Kaash’s “toxic alter ego” – a persona built on confidence, indulgence, and unfiltered hedonism. With slick flows, hard-hitting production, and a gritty, melodic edge, the EP reflects an artist fully in control of her voice and her vices.
Kaash says of the EP, “My alter ego loves the thrill – lust, attention, desire, all of it. But deep down, I know too much indulgence makes the soul starve. What feeds the ego doesn’t always feed the spirit, and KAASHMYCHECKS is me exploring that tension.”
The EP opens with “GIRLSGONEWILD”, a sultry, atmospheric intro that sets the tone for the project. Kaash reflects on the whirlwind of fame, with girls throwing themselves at her mid-performance and nights blurring into neon-lit parties. “2BADBITCHES”, which was released July 11, is next – the fan-favorite that leans all the way into Kaash’s temptress energy – a seductive tale of indulgence, desire, and the thrill of temptation. Next is “PIMP DADDY (FT. JUICY J)” – a gritty, bass-heavy banger featuring legendary Memphis rapper known for his pioneering work with Three 6 Mafia. The track is a money-making manifesto: bold, brash, and full of swagger. “P4P” features rising R&B star Phabo who lends his smooth vocals to the upbeat trap groove laced with Kaash’s signature melodic touch. Her vocals soar on the hook, capturing the electric chemistry of two artists in sync. “DEMONTIME” is an airier, introspective moment on the project, where Kaash floats over spacious production while reflecting on freedom, summertime, and fleeting connections. The project closes out with “WHOLE LOTTA SWAG”, where Kaash shows off her versatility and vocal dexterity, bouncing effortlessly between singing and rapping.
KAASHMYCHECKS follows Kaash’s bold move to independence, having signed with Rostrum Records after parting ways with Def Jam in 2023. Since then, she’s been focused on building a new creative team, sharpening her artistic voice, and leaning into experimentation. The EP arrives hot on the heels of her recent headline tour in China, and a landmark return performance at SXSW 2025, where she reminded fans of her electric stage presence and continued evolution.
Kaash initially broke out in 2019 with her viral hit record “Love Songs” and debut EP Parked Car Convos. This momentum catapulted her into the spotlight, leading to collaborations with global heavyweights like Don Toliver and Travis Scott on “Euphoria,” and a standout feature on Alicia Keys’ “Wasted Energy.” Along the way, she earned praise from Kylie Jenner, Alicia Keys, 6lack, and more, and was featured in notable fashion campaigns with Ivy Park, Moose Knuckles, and Guess. In the midst of all that, Kaash went onto release two additional critically acclaimed projects, Teenage Fever (2020) and S2ML (2022). Next came Kaash’s bold new independent chapter. She released Catch Me While I Care, an EDM-driven project that showcased her instinct for R&B/electro fusion and marked her first release outside the major label system.
