LANDON SMITH RELEASES NEW SINGLE “RAGDOLL”

Rising singer, songwriter, and guitarist Landon Smith released his new single, “The Ragdoll”, via Lucille Records / MCA. Following a breakout run of releases including “Lavender” and “Supertramp,” as well as his acclaimed 2025 debut EP Reckon So, “The Ragdoll” finds Smith leaning further into the raw honesty, restless energy, and sharp storytelling that continue to define his fast-rising career.

Written by Landon Smith and Kamryn Heatly and produced by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, “The Ragdoll” is a raw reflection on guilt, devotion, and the longing for redemption Anchored by Smith’s unmistakably rugged vocal delivery, the track explores the weight of knowing you’ve fallen short while still hoping to be loved despite your flaws. Blending vulnerable lyricism with gritty guitars and driving rhythms, “The Ragdoll” captures the push and pull between self-destruction and salvation, showcasing Smith at his most emotionally exposed to date.

‘The Ragdoll’ is about being at a point where you’ve got nothing left to hide,” says Smith. “It’s about knowing you’ve made mistakes, hurt people you care about, and still hoping somebody sees enough good in you to stay. I think we’ve all had moments where we felt broken in one way or another, and this song came from that place.” 

Smith first gained traction while gigging locally during college, when his breakout single “If You Want Me Tonight” went viral, ultimately surpassing 14 million streams on Spotify. That momentum carried into fan favorites like “July 6th” and “Taking Off to Tennessee,” establishing him as one of Nashville’s most compelling emerging voices.

Smith has performed for iconic festivals like GATAJAM, CMA Fest and Summerfest Milwaukee. Throughout his career, he has shared stages with iconic artists like Tyler Halverson, Uncle Lucius, Gavin Adcock, Whiskey Myers, 49 Winchester, and Kashus Culpepper.
