Ava Max and Alan Walker Release New Single “Fate”

Multi-platinum recording artists Alan Walker and Ava Max have launched their second collaboration, “Fate”. Grounded in an entrancing orchestral melody, “Fate” challenges Walker’s traditional sound. Max’s vocals command fiercely over a choir for a versatile, truly cinematic dance track.

Fit for both an action movie and the dancefloor, “Fate” hears Max declare the universal questions of “Is everything I do already written?”, “Who pulls the strings?”, and more, serving for a profound yet rhythmic experience.

“I had such an incredible time writing from a place of realness and what I feel in this exact moment. It’s a lot more emotional to me when it’s about destiny,” Max says of the single.

“Fate” marks the two artists’ latest collaboration during a defining year for each. Walker dropped his sixth studio album, World of Walker, Season One: Rise of the Drones, back in March featuring standout singles “Monster,” “Not Home,” and “Void.” This month, Max was featured on the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album alongside BIA with the high-powered single “Energy,” which they debuted at FIFA’s Countdown Concert in Los Angeles.

Max and Walker previously collaborated in 2021 on the smash hit “Alone, Pt. II” which boasts over 800M streams on Spotify alone, as well as 478M YouTube views on the track’s music video. The two hitmakers possess a combined social following of over 165M and are defined by dedicated global fanbases who have garnered them over 40 billion YouTube views and 130 billion streams worldwide.
