Original Soundtrack For Spike Lee’s A24 and Apple Original Films Joint HIGHEST 2 LOWEST Out August 15th

The first taste of music from Spike Lee’s new A24 and Apple Original Films movie HIGHEST 2 LOWEST comes in the form of powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and producer Aiyana-Lee’s stunning song of the same name, out now. The soundtrack, curated by Lee and including new songs from A$AP Rocky and Jensen McRae, champions black artists across genres as the film follows Denzel Washington’s music business mogul character rediscovering his love for exactly these kinds of artists.

Aiyana-Lee, who also appears in the film, reflected on the song saying, “‘Highest to Lowest’ is a soulful, triumphant journey. One rooted in vulnerability and hope. It’s a song and story close to my heart that proves even in the darkest moments, light always finds its way through.”

Alongside new tracks from A$AP Rocky, Jensen McRae, and Aiyana-Lee, the soundtrack includes a rich score balanced throughout. Out alongside the film’s theatrical release on August 15th, the record was executive produced by Spike Lee and sees original composition by Howard Drossin.
