SHAKIRA’S SECOND LATIN AMERICA LEG ADDS TO HISTORIC MOMENTUM WITH RECORD-BREAKING SALES ACROSS THE REGION

Building on the massive success of her first Latin American run and the ongoing North American dates, Shakira has officially added a second leg to her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour—with 30+ additional stadium shows now confirmed across the region. The new leg kicks off Monday, August 11 in Tijuana, Mexico at Estadio Caliente and includes stops across 9 countries in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and more, before wrapping Tuesday, December 9 at Estadio Vélez Sarsfield in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The second leg is already seeing overwhelming demand, with over 800,000 tickets sold. Most recently, a second show was added in Asunción, Paraguay at Estadio Ueno La Nueva Olla. In Asunción, tickets for Shakira’s first concert at Estadio Ueno La Nueva Olla sold out in less than a week, making her the first artist in the country’s history to add a second stadium date due to overwhelming demand, and the first female artist ever to perform two consecutive nights in a stadium in Paraguay, an unprecedented achievement that speaks to her unmatched popularity.
Now, over 70,000 tickets have been sold across both shows, making Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour the biggest concert production ever held in Paraguay in terms of scale, staging, and audience size and marks a new milestone in the history of live music in Paraguay.
In Cali, Colombia at Estadio Pascual Guerrero a second show was also added due to exceptional fan response—marking the first time any artist has sold out two consecutive nights at the venue. In Montevideo, Uruguay, Shakira sold out two nights at Estadio Centenario in just 48 hours, moving 100,000 tickets and setting a national record for fastest stadium sales. After the first date sold out instantly, a second was added and again sold out—this time during the general onsale.
In Quito, Ecuador, demand was just as monumental. Shakira sold out two nights at Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa within 24 hours, prompting the addition of a third show on Tuesday, November 11. 90,000 tickets were sold across the three dates, marking a new benchmark for touring in the country.
Following a record-breaking first leg, Shakira’s second run of 17 shows across Mexico has pushed her past another major milestone—over one million tickets sold in the country.
With incredible fan turnout and continued momentum, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour continues to solidify Shakira’s status as a global touring powerhouse.
Inspired by the themes of personal rebirth and resilience found in her album, Shakira’s return to the stage creates a powerful, emotional space for fans across generations—those experiencing her live for the first time and those who’ve waited years for her comeback.
Recently recognized by Billboard as the greatest female Latin pop artist of all time, Shakira has reached unprecedented milestones on this tour: over 2 million fans in attendance and record-breaking global box office numbers—further cementing her status as one of the most powerful artists in the world.
The North American leg wraps up soon with back-to-back shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on August 4 and 5, followed by a final performance on Thursday, August 7 at Valley Children’s Stadium in Fresno, CA.
