DDG UNVEILS NEW ALBUM HIT-A-THON!
Following the second installment of his viral seven-day, 24/7 livestream, multiplatinum hip-hop star DDG returns with his latest album, HIT-A-THON. Out now via Epic Records, the 15-track project was created live on stream, where viewers, a.k.a. the chat, watched the entire creative process from start to finish. The album features appearances from Lil Yachty, 42 Dugg, Pluto, Real Boston Richey, Bunna B, ian, Domani, and many more.
What started as a follow-up to last year’s livestream quickly became its own cultural moment, with DDG leaning into the spontaneity that made the first HIT-A-THON such a standout. Between surprise appearances, viral moments and a non-stop barrage of unscripted highlights, the sequel proved that when DDG opens the doors, anything can happen.
After fans flooded the comments calling for new music, DDG is giving them exactly what they asked for with the release of HIT-A-THON.
During the week-long livestream, the innovative artist successfully turned an Atlanta mansion into a 24/7 highlight reel. Among the collaborators who stopped by to work on the album were 42 Dugg and Pluto, who are featured on the track “ROUND AND ROUND.” Elsewhere, appearances by Bunna B (“SCRUB THE GROUND”), ian (“MAH BOI”), and Real Boston Richey (“GA WATA”) set social media ablaze—with Zaytoven behind the boards on the latter—adding even more star power to an already stacked lineup.
Adding to the excitement, the fan favorite also collaborated with 4ShootersOnly to host a live rendition of “From The Block,” where multiple artists stopped by to showcase their talents for the chat, including Doe Boy x Lola Brooke, Travis Porter, and Hoodrich Pablo Juan.
