DIAMOND* RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR “GG”
Fresh off of attending the Gucci fashion show in Milan, Atlanta rapper and ØWAY co-founder diamond*diamond* has shared a new music video for “GG”, out now. Led by upbeat synths and early-Southern-trap drums, the track is off diamond*’s latest project, July’s BLING SLIME VØL 1: HØSTED BY DJ HØLIDAY. In the new video, diamond* turns up in the studio and delivers his bars with his usual bravado. He shares “GG” from the road on The New Generation Tour, the headlining Young Thug run that crosses into Europe next month.
Young Thug signed diamond* and fellow ØWAY co-founder Tezzus to YSL Records late last year and has kept them close since. The two released their joint project UY SCUTI BØYZ in April, played Rolling Loud Orlando and Summer Smash, and landed on The FADER‘s 32 coolest artists of 2026. “GG” arrived in July on BLING SLIME VØL 1: HØSTED BY DJ HØLIDAY, an 11-track project hosted by DJ Holiday with features from Young Thug, Sk8star, Pz’, Lil Righteous and Southsidesilhouette. COMPLEX profiled ØWAY at the end of that month, around the same time The New York Times named “HEDIS N PELLES,” diamond*‘s track with Pz’, its Song of the Week. He released BLING BØI EP 2: HØSTED BY DJ HØLIDAY on August 18th, then joined Tezzus on “Hood of Atlanta,” a single from Slime Language 3, the YSL Records compilation that arrived August 28th. The New Generation Tour opened September 1st, Young Thug‘s first headlining run since 2019, with diamond* and Tezzus onstage alongside NAV, 1300SAINT, lyrus, Yume, Biggs and Unky. This month he shared the Lyrical Lemonade video for “FØURS” with Young Thug and sat for a Rolling Stone profile with Tezzus. On Friday he turned up on “Gourmet”, the opener of Tezzus and Che‘s RichPhønks EP. The tour heads to Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Łódź and Paris in October.
