ELVIS CRESPO’S MONUMENTAL RETURN TO THE EMBLEMATIC COLISEO DE PUERTO RICO IGNITES A SOLD-OUT SPECTACLE PRODUCED BY ERIC DUARS LLC

Over 15,000 fans filled the iconic Coliseo de Puerto Ricothis past Saturday (June 21) for a historic, sold-out spectacle celebrating the return of Merengue icon Elvis Crespo – brought to life by visionary producer Eric Duars and his powerhouse team at Eric Duars LLC, in collaboration with Molusco TV and NuLife Entertainment.

What unfolded was more than a concert — it was a genre-defining live merengue spectacle. With one of the most ambitious productions ever mounted in the genre, the event showcased a sensory feast of mesmerizing light displays, immersive stage design, blazing pyrotechnics, dynamic choreography, and multiple high-fashion costume changes.

Conceived by Crespo alongside creative leads Giovanni Ortiz, Gil René, and Puerto Rican stage designer Richard Vicens, the night was structured in four cinematic acts: Sunset, Evening, Poeta Herío, and Sunrise. Supported by a massive behind-the-scenes team of dancers, creatives, and stage professionals, the production delivered a seamless fusion of nostalgia, theatrical storytelling, and cutting-edge stagecraft.

Elvis Crespo’s three-hour set took fans on a high-energy journey through nearly 40 hits, seamlessly blending classics with new material. A parade of star-studded guest appearances – including Ivy Queen, Árcangel, Joseph Fonseca, Manny Manuel, La Insuperable, and more – elevated the performance, culminating in a euphoric finale with the iconic “Suavemente.”

The night stood as a towering display of triumphant vision and execution, further cementing Eric Duars as a driving force behind the evolution of live Latin music experiences.
