Jaguars Sign S Doug Middleton To Practice Squad

The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed fourth-year S Doug Middleton to the practice squad after he was released from the team’s active roster on Monday.

Middleton, 6-0, 210, has played in 15 career games and totaled 28 tackles and four passes defensed. A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Middleton attended Appalachian State from 2011-15 and appeared in 37 games, totaling 173 tackles (113 solo), 16 passes defensed, six INTs and two forced fumbles. Middleton wears No. 39 for the Jaguars.
