KA$HDAMI RELEASES NEW SINGLE “WANT!”

On the verge of a mainstream takeover, rapper, entrepreneur, visionary, and the DMV’s hottest rising star KA$HDAMI returns with an undeniable new single entitled “Want!” out now via Mercury Records/Republic Records. Listen to “Want!”.

He initially teased the track on social media with Brent Faiyaz in the promo video that garnered traction from multiple twitter accounts combining in over 1M+ views. Fans immediately clamored for its release and stormed the initial post gathering nearly 25K “likes” in less than 24 hours. On “Want!,” a bold bassline bumps as video game-style synths writhe around the beat. KA$HDAMI unleashes deft melodic rhymes with a self-assured final chant, “I’m getting this check when I want!”

About the song Ka$hdami shared, “Want!” is real flexed up music, the type of shit you play working out or thumbing through money. It’s one of my favorites cuz I made it in my bedroom turnt up.”

As Ka$hdami gears up for the release of his next EP, oasis, releasing on February 23rd, this song notably follows “Games.” Beyond picking up traction on DSPs, the latter attracted critical acclaim with plugs from HipHopDX and GRID Magazine who raved, “This track is a significant marker of KA$HDAMI’s personal and artistic evolution.”
