KOBI CANTILLO REUNITES WITH MICRO TDH AND BIG SOTO ON “BBYGIRL”

Venezuelan artist Kobi Cantillo returns with a dose of nostalgia on “BBYGIRL”, his new single alongside Micro TDHand Big Soto, marking a musical reunion for the three artists years after they first collaborated together on a remix.

With “BBYGIRL”, Kobi, Micro TDH, and Big Soto deliver a collaboration their fans have been waiting years for. All three are part of a key generation in Venezuelan music and now reunite at a very different point in their careers, with more defined musical identities, more established trajectories, and greater artistic maturity.

With lyrics like “Baby girl, tú a mí me gustas bastante / eso no es nuevo, eso es de antes / te quiero ver, dame la luz pa’ buscarte,” the song centers on a past connection whose chemistry remains completely intact. The track captures the desire to reconnect with someone and discover that, despite the time that has passed, the magic they once shared is still there.

Leading up to the release, the three artists began dropping clues across social media through a series of posts built around the same concept. Kobi Cantillo, Micro TDH, and Big Soto shared childhood photos alongside current images, accompanied by the phrase “La misma magia de antes” (“The same magic as before”), a lyric that also appears in the song and perfectly captures the nostalgic spirit of the reunion.

With “BBYGIRL”, Kobi Cantillo continues developing the new chapter of his career that began with “PUNKIE,” leaning further into a sound that feels more intimate, fresh, and connected to his influences. Over a blend of R&B and dancehall, the artist builds a story of love and reconnection that continues to unfold in front of his fans, while expanding the sonic universe of this new era.
