OMODA 4 makes European motor show debut in Paris ahead of 2027 UK launch

OMODA 4 made its European motor show debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, introducing the brand’s bold ‘Cyber Mecha’ design language ahead of its UK launch in 2027. Taking centre stage at OMODA&JAECOO’s first-ever appearance at the event, the new compact SUV has arrived following a record-breaking month for the dual-brand in the UK*, marking another milestone in OMODA’s growing European presence.
Taking place from 12–18 October 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the 91st Paris Motor Show brings together OMODA&JAECOO’s latest products and technologies under the theme ‘DRIVE THE NEW VIBE’. At the heart of the stand in Hall 4, Stand A91, is the OMODA 4, with its distinctive design and technology-led approach reflecting the brand’s ambition to appeal to a new generation of customers.
First revealed globally at Auto China 2026, where it was shown as a full hybrid with OMODA’s SHS-H proprietary Super Hybrid System, the OMODA 4 is the boldest expression yet of the brand’s ‘Cyber Mecha’ design language. Sharp geometric forms, multidimensional surfaces and o-universe lighting give it a striking presence, complemented by a technology-led starship cockpit inspired by gaming and digital environments. Its design also reflects OMODA’s ‘BE THE ONE’ philosophy, encouraging individuality and self-expression through a distinctive approach to crossover design.
In the UK, OMODA 4 will join the OMODA 5 as a compact SUV aimed at younger, technology-focused buyers, and will be the first model in the OMODA range to feature the Super Intelligent Cockpit. Designed to understand driver intent, learn user habits and deliver increasingly personalised interactions, the Super Intelligent Cockpit marks a major step forward for the brand’s intelligent in-car technology.

OMODA’s connection with youth culture, fashion and technology is also reflected in its partnership with VALORANT Esports EMEA, for which the brand is an Official Automotive Partner. At Paris, the collaboration extends to the OMODA stand, where esports-inspired visuals and interactive experiences complement the OMODA 4’s ‘Cyber Mecha’ styling, reflecting the brand’s ambition to engage with customers through their interests and lifestyles.
The Paris debut follows a period of unprecedented momentum for OMODA&JAECOO UK. September marked the dual-brand’s best-ever month, with 22,296 registrations, up 106% year-on-year, and a 6.37% share of the UK new-car market*. Leading the charge, the JAECOO 7 recorded 10,813 registrations to become Britain’s best-selling new car in September – its second monthly number-one of 2026*.
Gary Lan, CEO of OMODA&JAECOO UK, said: “Our Paris debut is an important moment for OMODA, and it’s fantastic that OMODA 4 has now made its European motor show debut. OMODA has always had a strong sense of individuality, and I think this new model really captures that while also representing an important part of the brand’s future. It’s youthful, fashion-conscious and technology-led, bringing a fresh perspective to the crossover market and appealing to customers who want something a little different.
“It’s also an exciting time for us as a business. We’ve just celebrated our strongest month ever in the UK, and with developments across our Super Hybrid System,
Super Intelligent Cockpit technology and wider new energy vehicle line-up, there’s plenty more to come. Next week, we’ll be joining colleagues and customers from around the world for the OMODA&JAECOO International User Summit in China, where we’ll be sharing more of what’s ahead for both brands.”
Taking place from 19–24 October under the theme ‘DRIVE TO THE NEXT VIBE’, the OMODA&JAECOO International User Summit will bring together customers, partners and colleagues from around the world, providing a further opportunity to explore the dual-brand’s future product, technology and design direction.
