Pedro Capó to host the 2026 ROLLING STONE en Español Awards

The Puerto Rican musician and singer-songwriter will co-host the ceremony on November 25 and 26 in Mexico City

ROLLING STONE en Español announces Pedro Capó as a host of the 2026 ROLLING STONE en Español Awards, the gala celebrating the figures, works, and projects shaping contemporary culture across our region.

Capó will co-host alongside Mexican actress Zuria Vega during an edition that will bring together some of the most prominent names in Spanish-language music, film, television, and entertainment in Mexico City, featuring musical performances, special guests, and recognition of the talent that has defined the past year.

The Puerto Rican musician is already part of the history of the ROLLING STONE en Español Awards. At the inaugural edition, held in Miami in 2023, his album La Neta was nominated for Album of the Year, while “Volver a Casa” competed for Song of the Year. During the ceremony, he also took the stage to perform the latter.

In 2025, Capó released La Carretera, an album that explores love, loss, loneliness, and resilience through a blend of folk, rock, acoustic guitars, and Puerto Rican roots, featuring collaborations with Jorge Drexler, Chambao, and Carín León. His return to the stage was later captured on Pedro Capó EN VIVO desde el Coliseo de Puerto Rico, released in March 2026.

The artist is currently preparing the release of Fulanito, his upcoming studio album, set for October 16. The project began to unfold with “Caer y levantarse,” released on September 21 as its first preview.

The 2026 ROLLING STONE en Español Awards will take place on November 25 and 26 in Mexico City and will feature 27 competitive categories and special recognitions, as well as live musical performances and special guests.
