With the online praise from established acts and tastemakers continuing to rise since the release of his lyrically vulnerable single, “Suffocating Slowly”, breakout artist Quail continues to prove he’s one to watch. Showcasing his signature blend of blues, pop, rock and soul, he not only follows up on the buzzing single with the official live version – “Suffocating Slowly (Live Session),” available now via TWNSHP/Epic; he dropped a new visual trailer announcing his upcoming EP, MACCLENNY – due out everywhere on October 7.
Written by Quail and composed by Jake & Jared Krumm, the blues, rock and grillz-tinged track finds Quail battling the side effects and pains of love along with its ups and downs. Quail’s nimble pen and vocal prowess are on full display with storytelling that provide more and more insight into the young man from a small town in Florida, who was never afraid of just how big his dreams could get and the lessons he’s sure to endure along the way to chase them.
