RISING SINGER/SONGWRITER JESSICA BAIO RELEASES NEW SINGLE “BAD TATTOO”

After building up buzz and teasing its arrival, rising California-born and Utah-based singer, songwriter, and performer Jessica Baio unveils a brand-new single entitled “bad tattoo” out now via 10K Projects. 

The track illuminates the scope of her signature style, underlining anthemic pop with stark trap drums and rich 808s. Without filter, drawing from the concept of a broken relationship, inking raw emotion atop the production. It climaxes on the catchy chorus, “You’re a stain on my heart I can’t remove, boy, you’re like a bad tattoo.”

About the song she shared, “I’ve always been drawn to music that evokes emotion even if it isn’t something I am currently going through. I’m married to the love of my life and our relationship is something I don’t take for granted.” She continues, “I think there’s something really special about telling a story through music that allows people to feel something; allows them to heal. When I go into writing sessions, I try to write about concepts that feel universal. I might not be going through a breakup now, but I have and can put how that felt into lyrics for someone else to relate to.”

It arrives on the heels of a string of singles this year, most recently “ghost,” which landed back in October.
