Going to the show everything that I expected being a Shordie Shordie fan happened: melodies and a lot of trap synths that had a whole house singing their hearts out. From listening to his earlier work we got to sing old and new songs such as hits like Doctors, Seattle, and hits from the new album such as Thug Life. Shordie Shordie knows exactly how to put on a show that keeps everybody entertained and engaged. For this to be my first time seeing him, I know this won’t be my last.
The night started as a real New York show, it was great to see the new rising genre of NYC such as Bronx Drill and Sexy Drill have the crowd entertained. We heard new music from Rella Gz, Kenzo B, and Chow Lee. They brought a lot of energy before bringing out the main act and had fans on stage dancing and amping the crowd as preparation. While Rella Gz and Kenzo B got the show started they performed a lot of unreleased songs that fans were anticipating and gave a lot of lyrical ability that had people amazed.

Chow Lee performed songs from their personal and group projects with Cash Cobain, which made him popular. The Sexy Drill artist performed many sampled songs with fans opening up a circle and performing tik-tok dances while preparing themselves for Shordie Shordie.
Once Shordie Shordie Dj teased the crowd, the main act ran onto the stage being very vibrant and demanding. Fans began singing everything from start to finish even some of his earlier songs came on which showed that there was a mixture of Day 1 and new fans in the theatre.

Shordie Shordie asked and received everything that was wanted, phone lights, chants, and crowd engagement which had people in tears at some points of the night. Shordie Shordie ended off the night with his biggest songs to date and left out with fans cheering him on for an encore which helped me as a viewer know that new fans and most people will be back the next time he’s in town.
