Vance Joy brought an unforgettable night of music to the Scotiabank Arena on September 24th, 2023, delivering a captivating performance that resonated deeply with fans. The atmosphere was electric from the start, thanks to the engaging opening acts, Tiny Habits and The Japanese House. 

Tiny Habits kicked off the night with a chill set that showcased their unique blend of folk pop and infectious energy. Their catchy melodies and upbeat rhythms got the crowd moving, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The band’s chemistry was palpable, and they quickly won over the audience with tracks that warmed up the audience for upcoming acts.

Following them, The Japanese House took the stage, offering a more atmospheric sound that perfectly complemented the night. With ethereal vocals and dreamy instrumentals, they created an immersive experience that drew listeners into a world of introspection and beauty. Songs like “Touching Yourself” and “Something Has to Change” highlighted their knack for crafting emotive narratives, and the audience responded with rapt attention.

When Vance Joy finally took the stage, the crowd erupted with excitement. Opening with the acoustic version of “From Afar” he immediately captured the audience’s hearts. His signature indie folk sound filled the venue, and the mix of new tracks from his latest album and beloved classics kept everyone engaged throughout the evening. 

Joy’s charismatic stage presence and genuine connection with the audience were undeniable. He moved between stages to create a more intimate moments with the fans, you can see him the crowd interacting with them. As well in the Alternate stage Vance performed a cover to Noah Cyrus’s “Everybody Needs Someone” with Tiny Habits. Hits like “Mess is Mine” and “Georgia” had the crowd singing along, their voices blending harmoniously with Joy’s.
