JAGUARS SIGN WR JALEN CAMP
The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed rookie WR Jalen Camp, the team announced today. Additionally, the team waived third-year RB Ryquell Armstead.
Camp was selected in the sixth round (No. 209 overall) by the Jaguars, becoming the fourth player from Georgia Tech to be selected by Jacksonville in franchise history. Camp played in 49 games with the Yellow Jackets and registered 48 catches for 808 yards and five TDs, including a career-best 439 receiving yards and four TDs in 2020. He capped his collegiate career with five receptions for 97 yards (both career highs), including a 21-yard touchdown, against Pitt on Dec. 10.
Camp attended South Forsyth (Cumming, Ga.) High School and recorded 47 receptions for 819 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior. He was also a three-year letter winner in track and field (100-meter, 4×100-meter relay).
