SWEDISH ALT-POP ARTIST RIVER SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘CHANGE’, ALONGSIDE VISUALLY CAPTIVATING MUSIC VIDEO
Swedish multidisciplinary alt-pop visual artist RIVER unveils her atmospheric new single ‘Change’, offering the latest glimpse into her highly anticipated debut album ‘A dying source’, on the Bushido label, a division of Pub Crawl Recordings, scheduled for release on November 13th, 2026.
RIVER is carving out a musical landscape of her own, blending alternative pop with cinematic textures and haunting melodies. On ‘Change’ she explores feelings of control and confinement, following on from her previous single ‘City of thirst’. Where her previous single balanced vulnerability and power, reflecting on the intoxicating push and pull of temptation and desire, ‘Change’ continues the narrative, exploring the aftermath that follows when we surrender to things we instinctively know will be negatively all-consuming. The accompanying music video once again visualises the single’s strong cinematic themes, continuing to paint a picture of a fleeting and doomed love affair through kitsch-inspired aesthetics, blending dreamlike visual landscapes with hyper-surreality.
