Multi-platinum alt-rock trio Wallows have shared an exclusive new spin on their recent single, “Marvelous,” remixed by the band’s own Cole Preston and available now at all DSPs and streaming services HERE.

I recently took up an interest in electronic music production and thought it would be a fun experiment to remix our own song,” Preston says. “I’m honestly surprised it’s coming out and am excited for people to hear it.”

Wallows’ original version of “Marvelous” can of course be found on the band’s acclaimed new album, Tell Me That It’s Over, available everywhere now via Atlantic Records. Produced by 3x GRAMMY® Award-winner Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele), Tell Me That It’s Over sees Wallows continuing on their ever-evolving journey of sonic exploration, fusing a vast array of musical ideas – from lo-fi post-punk and indie-folk to early ’90s dance-pop psychedelia – into their own one-of-a-kind creative vision. Highlights include the recently released singles, “I Don’t Want to Talk,” “Especially You,” and “At the End of the Day,” all of which are joined by official music videos directed by Jason Lester (Animal Collective, Ashe, Madison Beer, Rostam) and streaming now via the official Wallows YouTube channel HERE

In addition, Wallows recently shared a high energy live performance video of “Marvelous,” captured earlier this summer during the band’s sold out four-night stand at New York City’s Terminal 5 and streaming via YouTube HERE.

Wallows – Braeden LemastersCole Preston, and Dylan Minnette – continue to travel the planet on their epic Tell Me That It’s Over World Tour. The next North American leg of the global trek – which began April 1 with a sold out show in Seattle, WA and has included show-stopping festival sets at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds, and more – begins September 24 at Santa Barbara, CA’s Arlington Theatre and wraps up Saturday, October 15 with a top-billed performance at Austin, TX’s Austin City Limits Music Festival. The tour then travels to Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Europe, with headline dates scheduled through February 2023.
