Doe Boy’s understated versatility continues to fuel his artistic evolution. “Change,” a rap-sung couples anthem, showcases his ability to stretch his sound into fresh and authentic territory, solidifying his place in the ever-shifting landscape of modern rap. The video co-stars his real-life girlfriend, Brooklyn rapper Lola Brooke, bringing a genuine emotional layer to the track’s visual storytelling.

Musically, “Change” flips the iconic melody of Ginuwine’s “Differences,” giving the R&B classic a streetwise twist. “Your whole life gonna change once I give you my name, I don’t wanna hear you complain,” Doe Boy raps/sings in the hook, capturing the intensity of devotion and commitment. The video reflects the song’s message, showcasing Doe Boy and Lola’s love story, from humble beginnings to something much more. The visuals amplify the idea that real love can change everything.

The new single arrives on the heels of his recent standout releases, including the Skilla Baby and Flo Milli-assisted “Special” and the introspective “Hypnotize.” These tracks show Doe Boy’s range, revealing an artist just as comfortable navigating themes of romance and regret as he is delivering the hard-hitting bars that built his foundation.
