Romi Peles Shares “Deep Inside The Ocean” Single And Lyric Video via Galore

Psychedelic indie composer, guitarist, and record producer Romi Peles is set to release his third studio effort, Break Up Album, on June 13th. A deeply personal and sonically expansive project, the album marks a major evolution for Romi, as he shifts focus from instrumental compositions to raw, vocal-driven songwriting. “This album is a collection of tracks I’ve written over the past six years—songs that are incredibly close to my heart,” says Romi. “It primarily reflects the pain of a breakup with someone I loved and how that loss mixed with the grief of losing people close to me, including my cousin, Roy, at a young age.”Break Up Album also explores the emotional struggles of being an artist, capturing the weight of creation and personal transformation. The album was produced by Romi himself and mastered by Stephen Marcussen (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder).

Romi is sharing the second single from the album, “Deep Inside the Ocean”. “This song is a bittersweet reflection on love and loss,” Romi reflects. “It’s about me looking back at my girlfriend at that time after we broke up. It’s about the spectrum of someone going from being close to me to becoming a stranger. I produced the song in 2021, and after it sat in the drawer for two years, I came back to it, recorded the rap verse, and finished it.”

With Break Up Album, Romi invites listeners into his most vulnerable and cathartic work yet, transforming pain into something both intimate and universal. The album showcases his growth as a songwriter and vocalist, blending psychedelic textures with deeply personal storytelling.

The lyric video for “Deep Inside The Ocean” is out now. Break Up Album is due for release on June 13th.
