Following the release of his critically-acclaimed sophomore album Leaving Home (7.5 rating from Pitchfork) and his sold-out show at NYC’s Elsewhere, 18-year-old artist and producer FearDorian has just shared the music video for “Forecasting”. Shot in Brussels, “Forecasting” serves as the latest installment in an epic visual globetrot for FearDorian, showcased in recent releases “Pressure”(Manchester), “Pray 4 The People” (Paris), “In Turn For?” (Dublin), “Floor Tom” (feat. Polo Perks) (London), “Aspen” (Warsaw), and “Not Just Yet” (feat. RiTchie) (Berlin).

A coming-of-age album chronicling his first time away from home, Leaving Home finds the young artist stepping out into the world, living on his own for the very first time — and reflecting on the self-discovery he’s experienced throughout the process. Coming in at 15 tracks, the project is self-produced, written, and recorded by FearDorian and boasts features from Polo Perks,RiTchiequinn, and Klein, painting a vibrant portrait of the genre-agnostic ethos ingrained in his artistry. Leaving Home follows a breakout year for FearDorian, who released his self-titled debut solo album last March and his collab album A Dog’s Chance with Polo Perks and AyooLii in June in addition to lacing beats for artists like YhapojjBabyxsosaMyaap, and RiTchie.

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, FearDorian is known for his high-energy live performances and a refreshingly unorthodox style influenced by the sounds he grew up on –– from the guitar-driven angst of Midwest emo to the melodic, synth-dipped soundscapes of SoundCloud rap. He first broke out onto the scene in 2022, turning heads for collab projects Which end? with tropesEVEN IF with bronclair, and K.A.S.OB. with heartstopmiami. A sought-after producer in addition to his work as a solo artist, FearDorian has also recently netted production credits for the likes of Cochise (“Elbow Room”) and Kenny Mason (“HOODRAT”), and collaborated with quinn on singles “rat race” and “gatecode”. Later this year, FearDorian is slated to open for indie rockers Lowertown in Atlanta and screamo band In Loving Memory in New Jersey.
